The internal surface is coated with liquid epoxy to effectively resist corrosion from transported media.

The external 3PE (Three-layer Polyethylene) anti-corrosion system consists of a three-layer composite structure: a fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE) powder primer provides fundamental corrosion resistance, an intermediate copolymer adhesive layer ensures high interlayer bonding strength, and an outer polyethylene (PE) layer provides excellent mechanical protection. The inner wall is coated with liquid epoxy, forming a dense barrier that prevents corrosion erosion from transported media (oil, gas, water). This combined inner-and-outer protection scheme offers synergistic, durable, and long-lasting performance, significantly extending the service life of steel pipes, and is widely applied in pipeline projects such as oil/gas transportation and municipal water supply and drainage.
